Happy birthday to Lillian!

       In my mind, you always look so dynamic and hard-working; and you also leave me a deep impression about your humor and individuality. Although, before long, I will graduate from LSSH, I will not forget that there is a special English teacher in my senior high. Then, I want to tell you: You are not only a super teacher but a super idol for me; thanks for your guidance and we love you so much.

I still remember those days I attended the chemistry camp in the summer of 2005.

During these days, I did many things that I had never done and I dare not to do. It was the first time I went somewhere which is far from Taipei by train and just by me. Then, we united to play many kinds of games and won some rewards. Besides, every team had to write a play and act on their own play by themselves. What’s more, in the last night, all of us wore our senior uniform to join a dancing party.

After that, I seem to become more independent, more extroverted and lively; it also expanded my horizon. Now, I will not afraid of standing on the stage and dare to speak out loud than before. Most of all, I have made a lot of friends from the northern Taiwan to the southern Taiwan. In conclusion, I will remember it forever and it really leaves me a deep impression.

Yangon, used to be a capital of Myanmar, a big country lies in South Asia in the tropical zone. Unlike other places, in Yangon, you can see every man and woman wears Saloon, a kind of long skirts, through out the city. Besides, wherever you go, doves will always fly by your side. So, you can enjoy feeding them.

       Most importantly, without tasting its foods, a trip to Yangon wouldn’t be complete. In their night market, various delicious dishes can be found easily, such as coconut noodles, fish noodles, roast meat with special sauce and so on. After having all of the above, I promise that you may want to have them again and again. Otherwise, coconut juice is popular, too.

        In the central of Yangon, there is a large Buddies temple decorated with gold leaf. It has a main tower and surrounded by other small ones. You can also see the temple wherever you are in the city and will be amazed by its spectacular landscape. Specially, before going into it, you have to take off your shoes and socks.

        Because of its location, it is always a very sunny day every day in Yangon. I often enjoy in its blue sky, white clouds, cool wind and fresh air. That’s what all I like about Yangon. If you have time, plan a trip there. I believe that you will have an unforgettable experience like me.

I still remember those times we got together, played together and then understand each other in the summer in 2006.
That was a camp held by National Central University Department of Chemical & Materials Engineering. During those days, many kinds of activities which were creative, innovative and fun were in progress.
In the picture, we were allowed to make anything we want by limited ingredients, such as cookies, candies, maple syrup and so on. Then we had to tell a story about our creation. Therefore, everyone tried their best to imagine anything that is ridiculous and even strange to make it outstanding. The box in front of us was the final production we made.

Today was John’s birthday. Therefore, his mom held a birthday party for him in the morning. After the party, John couldn’t wait to find what others send to him. Then, to his surprise, he got a small puppy with white tail.

        In the afternoon, John decided to take it a walk to the park nearby. Suddenly, he wanted to go to bathroom, so he lashed the puppy on the tree. However, when he came back, the puppy was gone and John could not find it anywhere. Thus, he could not do anything but burst into tears and went back home.

        Fortunately, when he got home, he found the puppy outside his home and seemed to wait for him. Gratefully, John burst out crying because of cheerfulness. After that, john loved the puppy more than ever and cherished their time together.

          In the English class last week, the teacher taught them singing a song-We are the world, the most famous song it the west. However, while everyone was singing happily, David fell asleep because he did not like to sing and did not understand what the lyrics meant.

         Then, David dreamed himself becoming not only an adult but also a famous English teacher. He thought that he taught very well and that everyone would love him and concentrate in class. Nevertheless, most of his students dozed off and nobody was listening to him.

         In such an embarrassing situation, David felt angry. So he shouted, “Wake up!” loudly to the students and hit the desk heavily. However, David did not know he might run into a big problem. Because, at the same time, his teacher found him sleeping in class and was doing the same thing David was dreaming to him. Meanwhile, all of his classmates burst out laughing, which made him feel really embarrassed.

One day, Lilien took a ball to the park and wanted to find someone to play with. However, there was nobody there. While she was ready to go back home, she saw a little cat along besides the flowers. And she stopped to play with it. Feeling happy with the cat, Lilien decided to take it home.

Later, Lilien told her mother why she brought the cat back, how cute it was and promised that she would take responsibility for it. It did not take her too long to persuade her mom. After that, Lilien took the cat to the park every day and grew more attached to it. Two weeks later, she found some other stray cats in the park. Due to her sympathy, Lilien took them home without asking her mother.

When they got home, all of the cats dashed into the door and started to play in the living room. Stunned, Lilien did not know what to do but watched them make a mess. From the experience, her mom would never allow her to keep pets.

           My mom was born in Myanmar, a poor country in south Asia, and immigrated to Taiwan mor than twenty years ago. She is the oldest child in thier family so she has a sense of resbonsibility to take care of her family. Therefore, she becomes hardy and sometimes tough-minded.

          Since I was born, she has been a housewife, which has yrained her to be more patient and good-tempered. Though she led a very bitter life, I have never seen her complain about anything because she believed in Buddhism and believed that the Bodhisattva will protect us and lead us toward a better life. No matter how worse things become, she always looks on he bright side and is optimistic except for the things about me and my brother. Difficulties as life was, she stuck to her principles and let us grow up in warm and comfortable surroundings.

        Mom has lived a drab and dull life since I started junior high and my brother started senior high. I can’t spend too much time with her because of studying. Hoeever, she supports me rather than complain. In the past, all she could do was clean, watch TV ,especially telenovela,and window shopping. Thus, in order to add spice to her life, I taught her how to play on-line games recently. Now, she is interested in playing the games and started to learn ow to used the computer, such as surfing the Internet and using e-mail.

         “Cool” isthe image that my friends descripe my mom. 

         The most special person in my mind is no one else but my mom. She has devoted her whole life to the family and given up her ideal life, her dream and even everything sge deserves. Now i want to tell her”Just be yourself, do anything you want and enjoy your life from now on.”

          One afternoon, Jenny was busy in the kitchen preparing for their wedding anniversery. She made a lot of delicious dishes whose smell attracted their pet dog to come into the kitchen and eager to have some.

          Suddenly, a strong gorilla appeared in the kitchen but jenny didn’t notice. While turning around, with the dish in her hand, she saw it standing in front of her and immediately screamed. The dish was dropped on the floor and she was still screaming. However, the dog didn’t seem to know the danger. He started to eat the food on the floor and waged to show his cheerfulness.

          Then, when Jenny was trying to escape, the gorilla held her hand and showed his identity he was David, her husband. Jenny felt angry about David’s behavior, but soon she forgave him because he bought her a bunch of flowers she loves. Cheerfulness immediately filled the house. The dog seemed to feel the joyful atmosphere and sit between them.
